Phenoxy-1-heptylthio-3-phenoxy-2-propanol has been synthesized by the interaction of phenoxy-1,3-chloro-2-propanol with heptanthiol in the presence of 40% solution of caustic soda. During its joining phenylizocyanate, phenylthiocyanate and from aminomethylation obtained different functional substituted compounds, which improved the antioxidation and antimicrobial properties in lubricant oil M-11.
