THE STUDY INTO MACROSTRUCTURE AND PHYSICO-MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ELASTOPLASTICS FOAM ON THE BASIS OF POLYETHYLENE AND ETHYLENE- PROPYLENE CAOUTCHOUC

The effect of components ratio in a polymer mixture, and also of cross-linking agent (dikumil peroxide) and formation of gas (azodikarbonamid) on macrostructure and the basic physical-mechanical properties of elastoplastics foam has been examined. It showed that a variation of the ratio of these components is possible within a wide range of apparent density and diameter of the closed cells and pores in foamed samples.
