The synthesis of complexes of divalent cobalt and nikel with shiff basis obtained by condensation of 4-(dimethylamino) – benzaldehyde with aniline was carried out. It was established that synthesized compounds are bis – π-arene complexes, into coordinative sphere of which both atoms of nitrogen C=N groups are included. Antimicrobic properties of initial azomethine and its complexes with copper, cobalt and nikel wereanalysed. It showed that in oil M-10 they show high bactericide and fungicide activity.
