The article examined the distribution of uranium series isotopic ratios natural radionuclides in water samples taken from Upper Karabakh and Upper Shirvan canals and aquifers (artesian well) in central regions of Azerbaijan. Quantity of radionuclides (Ra – 226, Ra-228, K – 40, Cs – 137) in water samples is determined by gamma-spectrometric methods.
