The work retraces influence of ¡-irradiation on changes of electrophysical characteristics and physical-chemical properties of polychlorobiphenil-containing transformer oil. It revealed that low doses of irradiation lead to sewing molecular units of oil together and thus raise its viscosity and density. High doses of irradiation break inter-chain bonds in oil ands thus decrease its viscosity.
