POLYMER DERIVATIVES OF FULLERENES

For sometime past numerous studies in the field of chemical transformations of the new class of carbon materials known as fullerenes have been undertaken. These analyses were described in a large number of articles, surveys, books and other scientific publications. It should be noted that the existing literature is mostly written in English. On the other hand, the information available is still scattered and requires carefull analysis and well-grounded systematization. A review of the recent literature materials on fullerenes polymer derivatives is given in the presented paper. The key reactions in the presence of fullerenes C₆₀ and C₇₀ – anioniс, free-radical, сationic polymerization and polycondensation described and discussed.
