RESEARCH INTO ADSORBTION OF PHENOL IN THE FORMS OF Сa2+, Вa2+, Мg2+ – BENTONITES

Samples of bentonite taken from the Ali-Bayramli bentonite deposit have been modified with salts of different metals. The nature, quantity and volume in porosities of main centres on their surfaces have been studied using the method of the adsorption of phenol. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that Са2+- bentonite has the most ability of adsorption of phenol molecules, so it is possible to use it as sorbent for preventing phenol pollution of the environment.
