RESEARCH INTO SUPERFICIAL ACTIVITY OF RESIDUAL OILS, EXTRACTED OUT OF OIL-POLLUTED SOILS OF ABSHERON PENINSULA

The work examines superficial activity of residual oils as part of oil-polluted soils of Absheron peninsula. An interphase superficial tension of toluene solutions of oils on the border with distilled water, water solutions ОП-10 and sodium hydroxide (alkaline water) has been investigated. Results of experiments showed that the analysed oils possess high superficial activity which manifests itself in their contact with alkaline water.
