By means of asymmetric alternating current and polarizing measurements, conditions of cold iron cover on steel of HХ15, for restoration of warn out details of machines and mechanisms have been studied. Main parameters of asymmetric current for obtaining iron cover optimum thickness and hardness revealed as well.
