SORPTION OF COBALT BY TITANIUM MANGANESE CONTAINING SORBENT FROM INDUSTRIAL MODEL SOLUTIONS

G.A.Akperov

Sorption of cobalt by titanium-manganese containing sorbent from model solutions and industrial waste wasters in static condition at 20–65oC temperature and 5.0; 6.5 and 8.0 pH intervals has been analyzed. The experiment revealed that when a value of pH increases, a quantity of cobalt, which transforms into solid phase, increases (pH=5.0~8.0). Temperature dependence of rate constant and distribution coefficient of sorption process of cobalt examined existence of linear dependency between them determined. At the same time, different temperature dependence of sorption of cobalt on time analyzed. Cobalt is desorbed from sorbent by 0.1–0.5 v chloride or 96–98% acid.
