The consecutive reaction of interaction of acetylene with methylsubstituent benzenes and ferrocene in the presence of ethylaluminium dichloride as catalyzator has been studied. According to the results of UR-, PMR-, 13C NMR-spectroscopic analyses, the product of the reaction is copolymer of vinylferrocene with styrols methylsubstituted in the nucleus. The general route of reaction proceeding has been offered. The copolymers synthesized on the basis of ferrocene are distinguished by high thermo- and radiation stability, photosensitivity and other valuable technical characteristics and can also be used as catalytic additives to diesel fuel.
