Using various nucleophil sulphur-containing reagents with 1,2-epitio-3-chlorpan, we obtained functionally-substituted tiirans which have been analyzed as additives to transmission oils with a view of improving their quality. It has been established that synthesized S-substituted derivatives of tiirans appreciably improve EP and wear-preventive properties of transmission oils. Basic medium of functional properties of these additives is a trinomial heterocyclic ring.
