SYNTHESIS OF 1-MORPHOLINO- AND 1-PIPERIDINO-1-ALKOXY-CARBONYLMETHYLTHIOCYCLOALKANES

Abstract: The reactions of mercaptoacetic acid esters with enamines, specifically with 1-morpholino- and 1-piperidino-1-cycloalkenes, have been studied. It was established that the reactions proceed readily in the absence of a catalyst, yielding 1-morpholino- and 1-piperidino-1-alkoxycarbonylmethylthio-cycloalkanes. The composition and structure of the obtained aminosulfides were confirmed by IR and NMR (1H and 13C) spectroscopy, as well as by elemental analysis.
