The influence of preliminary radiation-oxidizing treatment on radiation-thermal processes of stainless steel (s.s.) oxidization in the contact with water vapours has been investigated. The contribution of radiation influence to these contacts on thermal and radiation-thermal processes of water decomposition and oxidization of stainless steel identified.
