“Chemical Problems” is an English-language, peer-reviewed scholarly journal. 

The journal was founded on September 19, 2002, by Akif Shikhan Aliyev and has been published since 2003. In 2004, the small enterprise “Turan” co-founded the journal. In subsequent years, Academician M. Nagiyev Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) also became a co-founder of the journal. Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Electrochemistry R.Agladze (Georgia) is an honorary co-founder of the journal.

 

The journal’s publisher is Baku: Chemical Problems Journal.

 

The journal is registered by the International Periodicals Registration Center and has a printed version index of ISSN (2221-8688) and an online version index of 2522-1655.

Articles also receive Digital Object Identifiers (DOI).

The journal is published four times a year.

 

Aim & Scope

The journal publishes works on all directions of chemical science, including organic and inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, metal-organic and coordination chemistry, chemistry of polymers, electrochemistry, material studies, petro-chemistry and oil-refining, biochemistry, crystal-chemistry, nano-chemistry, as well as studies devoted to alternative sources of energy and ecological chemistry.
